![]() ![]() No, we have a lot of good stuff coming up that I’m excited for people to see.ĪX: Do you have any other projects going on that we should know about?īENNET: No. I’m having fun as an actress being darker, but it is fun to be a little bit lighter as well.ĪX: What’s been your favorite episode or scene so far?īENNET: Any scene with Henry Simmons is the worst. So that’s what happened.Ĭhloe Bennet in MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD – Season 1 | ©2013 ABC/Bob D’AmicoĪX: And do you have a preference – do you want to see Daisy lighten up any time soon, or are you having fun with the angst?īENNET: I think she deserves to have fun. We wanted it to be different, but still kind of convenient, something that I could do easily. The first couple of episodes, we really worked out what the physicality was going to be. Mark Kolpack, he’s our VFX guy, he’s wonderful. ĪX: When Daisy is making a quake, did you decide on any particular real physical thing you’re doing?īENNET: Yeah. So being super-awesome and badass without questioning it is harder for me, to be honest. In a way, as an actor, it feels, as me, Chloe, playing someone super-badass, I’m still getting used to that title of being kind of a badass superhero, because I’m so clumsy and kind of self-deprecating and awkward to begin with. She was essentially under the influence of drugs without her personality changing, which was very weird to play, because there wasn’t really a reference of, “Oh, this is like I’m drunk,” or “This is like I’m on some weird …” My intention was different, and that was hard.ĪX: How are you dealing with Daisy becoming more sure of her powers? Because she’s gone through a lot of guilt with it, and she now seems to be more comfortable …īENNET: It’s actually harder for me as an actor to be more sure of my powers. ![]() Do you miss that?īENNET: Oh, my God, no, not at all. ĪX: When Daisy was under the control of Hive, she was a somewhat different character. It’s cool to explore that different version of the character.ĪX: And last season, you got to do, not two literally separate characters like Ming-Na Wen is doing, but you did have sort of a schizophrenic Daisy …īENNET: The entire series has been a bit of a schizophrenic Daisy. I think it was sad for Daisy, because she’s in mourning, but it’s cool. It was cool to see a darker version of her. fold, but trouble is brewing, since nobody knows (yet) that agent Melinda May (played by Ming-Na Wen) has been replaced by an android Life Model Decoy, or LMD.ĪSSIGNMENT X: How did you feel about Chloe’s transition to being Quake, the kind of Robin Hood outlaw?ĬHLOE BENNET: It was really fun. ![]() Daisy was also kidnapped and partially brainwashed by the alien Hive (played by Brett Dalton), though she has since recovered.ĭaisy spent the early part of fourth season as a vigilante rogue, helping those who couldn’t help themselves. Daisy has been through a lot since then, including the memory-wiping of her father (played by Kyle MacLachlan), being instrumental in the death of her super-powered but dangerous mother (played by Dichen Lachman), and the deaths of her boyfriend (played by Luke Mitchell) and her good friend Trip (played by B.J. organization before her true nature is known. ![]() Daisy started out as Skye, a computer hacker who is recruited by the secretive S.H.I.E.L.D.
